Financial Crimes Commission Act

It is hereby brought to the attention of the public that the Financial Crimes Commission Act (2023) was proclaimed on March 29, 2024.

Consequently, the Financial Crimes Commission has been established and is operational.

In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Crimes Commission Act, it repeals the Prevention of Corruption Act (2002), the Asset Recovery Act (2011), and the Good Governance and Integrity Reporting Act (2015).

The Financial Crimes Commission now assimilates functions of the institutions arising from the aforementioned laws, namely the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Asset Recovery Investigation Division and the Integrity Reporting Services Agency.

As a result, all correspondence addressed to these institutions should henceforth be directed to the following address: Financial Crimes Commission, Réduit Triangle, Moka and/or the email address fccoffice@fcc.mu.
