Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre (CAACC) commemorated the CAACC 10+1 year’s anniversary on the 27th of February 2024 at the Royal Aria Convention Centre, Tlokweng under the theme “Strengthening Partnership Opportunities for the next Ten years. The main purpose of the event was to reassure the International community that the Government of Botswana is still committed to collaborate with the Commonwealth Secretariat, other governments and international organisations in the fight against corruption. In order to demonstrate this, the Centre did the following;
• Shared with its current and prospective members the great work and impact CAACC has made over the years.
• Assisted delegates to appreciate diversity and commonality of strategies to combat corruption.
• Offered an opportunity for current and prospective stakeholders to connect and network.
The event was graced by one hundred and seventy-nine (179) delegates both international and local from government ministries, anti-corruption agencies, stakeholders and strategic partners.
