The Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre (CAACC) is hosting a regional online training programme on “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Corruption Prevention and Public Awareness” from 22–24 September 2026.
The programme attended by nominated officials from Anti-Corruption Agencies across Commonwealth Africa explore the practical and responsible application of AI in corruption-risk identification, prevention, public awareness and digital engagement. It will also address key governance considerations, including privacy, data protection, transparency, accountability and human oversight.
This programme brings together expertise in corruption prevention, corruption typologies and trends, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, technology, responsible AI adoption and international anti-corruption practice. Facilitators include Mr. Lincoln Diteko, Director, RiskInteg Solution Services; Professor David Sebudubudu of the University of Botswana (UB); Mr. Lawrence McEwen, Strategic Cybersecurity and Technology Leader and CEO & Founder of EST Applied Intelligence; Dr. Olu Ajayi of Revelo Integrity Technologies, United Kingdom (UK); and Ms. Isatou Batonon, Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
Through this multidisciplinary expertise, the programme will support Anti-Corruption Agencies to explore the practical, responsible and sustainable application of AI to strengthen corruption prevention and public awareness.
