Combating Corruption (AUCPCC), great strides have been made by Member States in the fight against corruption. The African Union has set the day, 11th July, as the African Anti-Corruption day. This is the day to reflect on progress made in the continent; what is working, challenges and opportunities. Different countries and institutions commemorate the day in various activities.
Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Centre representatives from twenty (20) African anti-corruption agencies and representatives from AfDB joined the rest of Africa in commemorating the day through a walk from Kgabo Mall to Pilane Crossing Mall on the 11th July 2023 under the theme, “African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption, 20 Years After; Achievements and Prospects.”
